A Dublin City Wedding - Marco Pierre White

I am so delighted to Share this beautiful winter wedding with you... I say winter, but it was one of those beautiful cold, sunny days that we are lucky to get in Ireland every now and again! Maeve & Daniel were just the best couple to work with - Here's a little about their day..

When Maeve booked me, she said she loved my style, particularly the candid photos as they felt they were going to be an awkward couple in front of the camera (this turned out not to be true at all by the way!) She wanted to get some nice photos of the two of them but didnt want to be away from their wedding party for too long. With friends and family coming from all over to celebrate with them, the emphasis was on spending the day with them and having lots of chats and laughs - I knew we'd be a perfect fit!

After morning preperations filled with laughter in her home town of Bray, Co Wicklow, Maeve and her bridesmaids headed into the stunning Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin City for their ceremony. It was a really personalised ceremony, her brother walked Maeve down the Aisle to a beaming Daniel, one of their best friends was their celebrant, they had a friend singing and a few family members had readings - Short, sweet and filled with laughter and lots of happy tears!

After they were married we did some family photos in Smock Alley before heading for a short stroll with the bridal party around Dublin's Temple bar area for some photos. As you'll see from the photos, this was such a fun group of friends that didnt stop laughing from start to finish!

Not wanting to keep everyone out in the aforementioned cold for too long, we headed back to their friends and family that were keeping the party going in Marco Pierre White, Donnybrook.

After the drinks reception, guests were invited into the stunning dining room for some short speeches, mouthwatering food and dancing.. I really loved capturing this wedding so hopefully you enjoy the images...
